Jonathan Vellinga, MD

Jonathan Vellinga, M.D. is an Internal Medicine practitioner with a broad interest in medicine. He graduated Summa cum laude from Weber State University in Clinical Laboratory Sciences and completed his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Upon graduation from medical school, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Michigan. Dr. Vellinga is board-certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine.

Dr. Vellinga specializes in Internal, Functional, and Integrative Medicine. He uses an integrative approach to treat adult patients with various conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, various gastrointestinal illnesses, Alzheimer's disease, chronic pain, and complex chronic diseases.

In his spare time, Dr. Vellinga enjoys reading, mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding, playing music, learning new things, and most of all spending time with his wife and three children.
