Kayla Lussier, FNP-C
Kayla Lussier, FNP-C is passionate about delivering care that helps people feel stronger, healthier, and happier on their journey towards becoming whole. Kayla graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brigham Young University in 2011 while a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. After working for 4 years on the Medical, Surgical, Orthopedic, and Telemetry hospital units as well as working in home health, Kayla graduated from Maryville University in 2015 with a Master of Science in Nursing.
She is board certified through The American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has experience treating patients of all ages and trained across multiple medical disciplines including urgent care, family medicine, and geriatric care. Kayla is currently enrolled in the Institute of Functional Medicine's certification program.
Service and travel are Kayla's first loves. While attending nursing school, Kayla volunteered over 1100 hours of medical service on the U.S.N.S Mercy. The hospital ship delivered humanitarian aid to eight countries in Southeast Asia. She also studied abroad in Ghana where her nursing class assisted in finishing a maternity wing in a rural part of the country.
Kayla is bilingual, being fluent in English and construction equipment terminology. Her 2 young boys make sure to correct her if she ever mistakes a backhoe for an excavator. More than anything, Kayla is a huge fan of her 2 young boys and husband. They are the best hiking, camping, and exploring buddies she could ever want.
